Training

Set Tailoring to Up ↑ and leave room under your 720 total skill cap.

Tailoring recommended training route
Skill Range Recommended Activity
0–50 Buy an optional lesson from a Tailor for 300 gold; it raises this skill directly to 50.0.
50–70 Make Leather Jingasa: 4 Leather.
70–80 Make Leather Hiro Sode: 5 Leather.
80–90 Make Leather Ninja Mitts: 12 Leather.
90–120 Make Field Dressing Rolls under Ironveil Utility: 10 Cloth.

Above 100, use matching Power Scrolls in order: 105, 110, 115, then 120. They unlock caps without granting skill points.

Right-click the teacher NPC, select the skill’s training entry, then give 300 gold. You need a skill cap of at least 50 and room for the entire lesson under your total cap.

Mechanics & Scaling

The roll requires 90.0 Tailoring and converts 40 Cloth into a tradable consumable that opens into 40 normal Bandages. Crafting success remains chance-based at the 120.0 skill cap. Supported leather, studded and bone Armory armor uses its family and rarity for Armor Rating; Exceptional adds +3 raw Armor Rating per piece. Cloth has no rarity Armor Rating curve.

Additional rules & notes

  • A plain cosmetic Death Shroud can be worn over eligible mage clothing. Bonus-bearing equipment still follows its equipment restrictions.

Location & Instructors

  • Trainer NPC: Tailor, Tanner, Weaver or Cobbler to 50.0.
  • Academy: Craft cloth or leather items close to current skill.
